We currently live in the UK, but spend many of our holidays in France and are so lucky to have found this beautiful house L'Abeille. Julia's family used to make the journey down to the South of France regularly in the 1970's - her dad says they were pioneers! So, it has very fond memories which is why we wanted to have our very own piece of this beautiful country.<br/>We are hoping to retire in the next few years when we will be able to spend even more time here.
|Year property purchased||2017|
|Why this location?||We looked at a number of properties and one thing became very clear, if we were going to buy somewhere in the South of France then it needed to have a pool. We chose L'Abeille and Laurens because of the location, the village is small and friendly but also has the amenities that you want ie. a couple of shops and restaurants. It is convenient for a number of airports and so close to the beach and mountains alike. Just perfect!|
|Unique benefits of property||The house is so light and airy with a really welcoming feel to it. We feel relaxed as soon as we arrive. The spacious open plan living area lends itself to entertaining.
The pool is also such a bonus and the various terraces and the balcony make it an absolute delight to be outside.
Chateau Greznan is well worth a visit for their wine tour and tasting
A beautiful, very long, sandy beach. Pop-up restaurants feature all along the beach during the summer.
