About this property

Villa with Panoramic Views, Private Pool, Sea (18km). This villa is in a rural setting.

Charming Catalan villa, peaceful and tranquil location at the foothills of the mountains. The villa is situated in a residential area ‘Les Chartreuses du Boulou’, outside the Catalan village ‘Le Boulou’ at 10km  from the Spanish border.

The villa is split over 2 levels. The ground floor has a cosy living room (with aircon) with dining area and equipped kitchen.
From the living room you have access to the terrace where you can enjoy the mountain view and you also  have direct access to the veranda, from where you have a great view on the plaines and the Canigou mountain. The French sliding doors make the living room cosy and airy.

There is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, a bathroom and a shower room, both rooms have reversible air-conditioning.
On the basement level, you have the garage and next to the garage there is a spacious twin bedroom with direct access to the pool.

The pool measures 7x3m and will be uncovered during the summer, a pool alarm will secure the pool.

From the house, you can leave on foot into the mountains and walk to the Col de Llinas or to the Pic du Neolous or go hiking into Spain (5km).  At one point you will see from the crest of the mountain France at the one side and Spain at the other.
By car you can drive up to Céret (10km) a beautiful market town with a modern art museum, a bustling Saturday morning market and picturesque squares with cosy restaurants where you can enjoy Catalan dishes.  Céret also hosts the festival of the Sardanes, a traditional Catalan dance.
