Nice, clean and comfortable 1st floor apartment ideal for a couple. Large terrace out the back overlooking the football field and village church in the background. Plenty of outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the afternoon/evening sunshine. Small terrace out the front overlooking the road (non-busy when we were there) for morning/lunchtime sun.
Apartment very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, hairdryer etc and plenty of kitchen utensils making cooking at home very easy should you wish to.
Small selection of Bars/Restaurants in Argeles village 2 minutes walk away and a larger selection down at the Plage. Argeles Plage itself was less appealing to us, but we loved Le Racou area and beach which seeemed to have a lovely feel and atmosphere. Had a couple of delicious, if a little pricey, dinners there in the evening. Also loved the Cave/Bar and its owner down at the far end of le Racou. Argeles Port also has some nice Restaurants and Bars so well worth a visit there.
Enjoyed travelling around visiting the other local coastal villages of the area and of course the Route de Vin!
The owner was helpful both prior to visit and on arrival. The owners parents live in the apartment below and were on hand should you need help but were never intrucive. Great value for money, would recommend.
Claire and her husband are a very nice couple. Friendly and easy to talk to. They left the flat clean and tidy. I would recommend them to any owner of a holiday rental.
