We live in a rural setting on the outskirts of Axminster, East Devon. Retired but active and enjoy travelling in Europe (mostly in campervans in previous years!) and spending time at our mobile home in Argeles Sur Mer.

|Why this location?||We love this area having lived there previously. Fantastic for all ages, but especially for families, friendly and safe with easy access to all activities or just relaxing quietly with a glass of local Muscat on the veranda!|
|Unique benefits of property||Clos du Thyme is a lovely family friendly site with a pretty pool and swimming area, bistro /restaurant, evening entertainment and bakery outlet in the summer season. The mobile home itself sleeps 4 people (2 Bedrooms, lounge/dining area with kitchen, good size shower room and separate wc).
Very private at rear (not overlooked) and has sunny raised private veranda with seating/table/parasol and lounging area surrounded by palms and oleander bushes at the side and front. Views over to the Alberes range of mountains.
Short ride or walk into nearby Argeles town with restaurants, cafes, patisseries markets etc. Also close to beaches, marina and main promenade all accessed by a tourist train (Noddy bus as we call it!) in the main season.
There are so many lovely, local places to see and things to do it is very difficult to narrow it down, but we love to go to the local market and then have a coffee and/or lunch at one of the cafes in the main square or across from the church.
Many people love to visit nearby Collioure (a beautiful fishing village) because of its connections with artists, and a little further along the coast - Banyuls sur Mer where they produce the local spirit Banyuls and also Muscat (very sweet and addictive!)
We often go across the border into Spain-a lovely 16km drive over the mountains to Figures where there is a Dali Museum and to Roses which has a very large marina and promenade. We have also found a beautiful reservoir/lake at Darnius - 2 or 3 km past the busy shopping areas of Perthus and Jonquere.
