The picturesque village of Segur-le-Chateaux and named as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France" was a major town centre during the Middle Ages. The remains of its 12th Century Chateaux can still be seen as half-timbered houses set into the rock. Nowadays this beautiful village is a peaceful haven to relax and have dinner or a few cold drinks on a hot day. During July and August there is a weekly market selling fresh produce on Monday night and lots of other planned events.
Very beautiful villa in tranquil setting. Beautifully presented house.
Hosts opposite but very helpful and welcoming.
We needed to use medical facilities which were good in nearby Lubersac. Some pretty villages. Good on-road cycling.
