Rural france with a special touch!
Having stayed ourselves in many gites and holiday cottages in the UK and France, we wanted to create something a little different.
The little touches that can make your hard earned break away that bit special.
We offer an advance grocery service, the little bits'n'bobs ready for you in your gite. No unforeseen extras, privacy and no disturbances, but help and advice if you need it.
We remember arriving to find no soap, not a tea towel in sight, no cling film to wrap the opened food in.........a dash to the shops the minute you arrive!! At Les Brégères, we have tried to provide everything you'll need to settle in straight away, whether it's putting the kettle on for a cuppa or opening the wine!
Our reputation is vital, we aim high and pay close attention to the detail.

I have lived in France since 2005 and enjoy the tranquility, far reaching views, distinct seasons, clear roads, lack of crime and rubbish. I enjoy meeting guests and providing a warm welcome. Some guests like to chat and find out about the farm and area but others prefer to simply enjoy the gite and surroundings. Privacy is assured. I always consider that guests holidays are precious and do my best to be there as and when required only.

This is an impressive gite with superior facilities - the owners have taken great care to ensure that you want for nothing. Loads of crockery and cutlery, and also many varied pans etc in the kitchen, which is massive, with a large dining table. Decent -ish barbecue too! Dishwasher and washing machine very useful. The house was spotless for our arrival! The whole property is extremely spacious and the private outside space is charming (and there is also use of a larger outside space with above ground pool and sun loungers). Caroline gave us a very warm welcome and was keen to answer any questions (and there is a very useful comprehensive folder at the property with a lot of information in it, including pointers to restaurants). The gite was a great location for exploring the many sights of the area and also for great countryside walks - and fishing in the Etang de Bregeres. While we were there (7th - 14th September) many of the activities had closed for annual leave, but you can rent canoes in Isle de Jourdain and Moussac when they are open! Go to the Auberge in Mouterre for lunch - very good value.
Very comfortable stay in beautiful surrounds very good cooking facilities
