The ground floor provides access to private walled garden with barbecue plus table and chairs for al fresco dining. Under balcony area with comfy cane furniture to relax in after a long day.

Laundry room also on ground floor with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board etc.

There is a dining/family room with large dining table and quality bed settee for further guests. Large antique oak dressers provide everything necessary for dining and entertaining. Large 40 inch tv on wall with UK tv and radio plus French tv.
From this room you can access the large balcony looking towards the church and the valley. Table, chairs and parasol to relax with your favourite beverage,

The kitchen is also accessed from this room, a typical French kitchen with small kitchen table, chairs, double sink, gas cooker, dishwasher and fridge. Extremely well equipped kitchen.

Living rooms

The main suite consisting of very large lounge with alcove housing comfy double bed. Double curtains provide complete privacy rooms sympathetically furnished with three large sofas and several lounge chairs. Lounge has restored vintage wallpaper on walls. Then a walk through to modern shower room .

Bedrooms

There are 4 further bedrooms, all furnished to a high standard, giving maximum flexibility.
Two bedrooms with twin beds, and 2 bedrooms with double beds. There is are 2 modern shower rooms on the upper floor between the bedrooms.

Bathrooms

Three modern shower rooms with heated towel rails and mirrors and storage.

Heating

The property has full oil fired central heating newly installed and an electric burner style heater in the lounge with heated towel rails in each of three bathrooms

Entertainment

There is a 40 inch hd flat screen tv in the dining room with satellite tv. a smaller tv in the lounge with Netflix and Playstation 3. Plus various boardgames, chess and cards. Cd player and online radio stations.

Garden and outside

Private walled garden with small lawn, patio area with table and chairs for al fresco dining and barbeques. Comfortable cane suit under portico and a necessary shade provided by sails and parasols

Safe on street parking outside the house plus 2 free public carparks both within 50 mtrs

Former owner of a Restaurant in Bellac we undertook the renovation of number 28 in early 2016 after taking retirement. After 12 months the house is now finished to the highest standard and myself and my wife Sue look forward to welcoming you to what will be a unique holiday experience in our 400 year old town house. We welcome you to step back in time and holiday in a typical french town house with lots of home comforts

Why this location? Bellac was formerly known as the crossroads of France and is thus an ideal location for your holiday stay. Easy access by rail to Limoges and Poitiers, the two nearest largest towns. Many local amenities provide something for everyone, from golf to sun seeking on the beaches at Lac St Pardeau, horse riding through the Blond mountains to eating and drinking in the numerous bars, Cafes and restaurants in the town itself.
