La Grange is situated well back from a single track rural lane, with gated entrance. Your own parking area leading into private garden and secluded raised terrace with bbq and garden table/chairs. The garden has sunloungers and far reaching views of mature oaks and rolling fields.

Large open plan kitchen/diner leading into a large living room with sofas and chairs to cater for all ages and tastes. English SKY freeview tv, games, toys and books. Three large bedrooms, 1 en suite shower room to a downstairs bedroom. Upstairs 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with full size bath and shower over. An additional single bed is contained in the master bedroom and a cot is available.



Kitchen and dining

Fully equipped oak kitchen, with gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee-maker, toaster, kettle plus all the crockery/cutlery you need.

Farmhouse table with Limousin bench seats, (dining chairs also available for those preferring a back rest).

High chair available for younger guests.

Living rooms

Quality Thomas Lloyd leather sofas, recliner chair and straight backed chair to suit all preferences. Furnished with a homely feel. Woodburner for cooler month lets plus electric panel heaters. Cool tile floors for warmer months and thick stone walls for all seasons.


Bedroom 1 is downstairs, located through a lovely 18th century old oak door. Quality double bed plus wardrobe and chest of drawers. Double aspect windows. En suite with shower cubicle, loo and basin.

Bedroom 2 is a super king, in a very large partly stone walled room. Views across the inner courtyard and avenue of lime trees which form an 18th century folly, all visible from the bed. Wardrobe and chest of drawers, oak beams and additional single bed. This is a very large room.

Bedroom 3 , across the landing past the bathroom, is a twin bedded room with detail stone walls to 2 sides and oak beams. Great for children, overlooking the garden and on beyond to the ponies!


En suite downstairs provides a super shower with power jets, plus toilet and basin.

Upstairs is a full size bathroom, with shower over the bath. Toilet and basin.


Electric panel heaters throughout plus a very efficient woodburner which heats most of the house.


Sky tv freeview, dvd player and library of films, toys and boardgames for all ages, books for all ages plus magazines and local attraction information.

I have lived in France since 2005 and enjoy the tranquility, far reaching views, distinct seasons, clear roads, lack of crime and rubbish. I enjoy meeting guests and providing a warm welcome. Some guests like to chat and find out about the farm and area but others prefer to simply enjoy the gite and surroundings. Privacy is assured. I always consider that guests holidays are precious and do my best to be there as and when required only.

It's 5 minutes walk to the lake, great for fishing or a leisurely picnic. A great play area too for younger guests to enjoy.
So much to see and do in the area, from theme parks to chateaux, horse riding to lake swimming, local markets or fetes.

On site, you can help collect the eggs from the ducks and hens, or stroke the ponies and donkeys.
