About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Karen or Craig Marsh

My husband & I met while in the Royal Navy.
We set up a craft centre in Lewes East Sussex and are self taught stained glass artists.
Eventually we went to live in La Rochelle where we had a catamaran built. We took it to the Caribbean to take people out to the remote islands for holidays.
On our return we renovated and set up two holiday cottages in the Peak District and also hired out our narrowboat for self drive holidays.
Now we are here in the beautiful Haute Vienne to do it with gites.

Year property purchased 2018
Why this location? The beautiful Haute Vienne - the Lake District with beaches and sunshine!
The spectacular setting of this beautiful gite is breath-taking. Nestling into the hillside the views from all windows and the gardens are stunning. If peace and quiet with just the sounds of bird-song and gentle tumbling water from the river below is what you require Honeysuckle House is the place for you.
Wild life abounds in the countryside and woodlands. See deer, badgers, fox, pine martins and birds of prey soaring high up in the thermals. A profusion of wild flowers in the woodland glades.
Within a short drive you can be in the pretty market towns and historic villages that the Limousin is renowned for. Visit the lakes, take a boat trip, sunbathe on the beaches, swim, fish, play a round of golf or take a leisurely lunch or dinner in a gourmet restaurant. The choice is yours!
