I have spent the last 8 years enjoying time between the peace and tranquility of rural France and the hustle and bustle of South East England. I have been self-employed for a number of years (in Sales & Marketing) and enjoy the interaction with other people from different backgrounds and this has been expanded into running our gite. I enjoy the walks, along with my dogs, in the locality of our gite while remaining in regular contact with the UK having continued with the business.

|Why this location?||The rural location in complete contrast to the South East of England where I am from. I enjoy elements of both lifestyles and the Limousin, particularly the Haute-Vienne, is a great way to immerse yourself in the local lifestyle with easy access back to the UK as and when required. Our property is a 5 minute drive away from our village where there is lots of activity to enjoy and just another 10 minute drive takes into the town of Magnac Laval where all of your requirements are available to you. The local way of life is easy to enjoy and become the "norm" while in the area. Further afield there are larger towns and cities to explore plus many pastimes to enjoy. The region is both relaxing and abundant in it's offering of varied activities.|
|Unique benefits of property||Our property offers the peace of tranquility of the rural countryside, as it set in 2 acres of land. Retreating back to Des Res, your own patio area looks out onto nothing but countryside, with the opportunity to relax and enjoy your own space. If you are looking for a getaway with more available just a short drive away, you should not be disappointed.|
This restaurant is nothing short of wonderful. The food is excellent and the service and welcome is second to none. Owned by a local family, the recommendation could not come high enough. Very good value for money, offering superb local menu "a-la-carte", a good lunchtime variety for "plate of the day". There is also the option for a pizza takeaway service with a very selection of variety toppings.
