I divide my time between Limousin and Worcestershire. I have been holidaying in Limousin since 1987 so have a good knowledge of the area. I spent 4 years living at the property when it was renovated.

|Why this location?||Having known the area since I was about 12. I like the rural location and space after living in London.|
|Unique benefits of property||Quiet and peaceful and away from it all. However the interesting town of Montlucon is only 20 minutes away. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. Its also ideal for hiking, mountain biking, fishing and motorcycling.|
Around 30 minutes drive from the gite there are some very interesting stones which are from the ice age. Although this is a tourist attraction it never gets overly busy even in high season and off season its very quiet. There is a pleasant forest path leading to the stones and at the parking are is an excellent restaurant which is child friendly. There are also activities for children here. An equivalent of Go Ape. As well as mini golf, trampolining etc.
This bridge is around 20 minutes drive from the gite. It spans a large river and is very picturesque. There is also an ancient church which you can drive to and this overlooks the bridge.
