Walking right outside the door and villages close by....enjoy the wonderful crusty breads from the boulangerie. lovely places to eat in La Chatre our nearest town...Saturday market there too! 12 mins to Aigurande with their Friday market and shops. Try the chocolate there's nothing like it!
Open spacious kitchen with all electrical goods, microwave, washing machine, oven and hob, coffee-maker, dish washer, fridge-freezer, kettle and iron and ironing board.
Dining table seats 6 and oozes character the open plan is just right for those family cook/chats/sips...........no one is left out......its ambience is warm and congenial.
The sitting room has a sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee-table, logburner and the television lives here!
There is a book case with a choice of reading material and plenty of boardgames for every age to test your skills. There is free wi-fi and a CD MP3 player.
We provide free wood for the fire if your recquire it.
The master has a very comfortable king size bed and all bedding is included. Wardrobe with hangers, dressing table, chest of drawers and side cabinets with lights. There is a Day bed too!
The windows are dual aspect and you have the wonderful views...blinds and curtains and a clock.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds and again all bedding supplied. Wardrobe with hangers, cabinet, table lamp, chest of drawers. Dual aspect windows again beautiful scenery, blinds and curtains.
Good size family bathroom with large walk-in shower, basin/toilet and heated towel rail.
All towels are supplied by us and may be used at the pool too!
There are items such as shower gels, shampoo/conditioner, soaps and lotions for your use as well as towelling bathrobes and slippers. I also supply a hairdryer and curling tongs.
There is a logburner in the sitting room and once lit will infuse the Gite with warmth.
Television and CDMP3 player, boardgames, reading.
The garden lies directly in front of the Gite and here you will find the pool. We have inflatables for your enjoyment and there is a badminton set, swings and swing ball.
We offer a NON smoking policy but outside the Gite you may smoke.
There are several seating areas, sun beds and a gas bbqfor your use.
We welcome your pooches if they are well behaved.
Parking is private and outside the front of the Gite in the courtyard.
Suitable for couples, family trips, children ---- ideal for a lovers retreat --- artists --- photographers and twitchers. Also those star gazers!
Ideal for walks and ramblers or for house hunters as we are central for most regions.
We also have a bed and breakfast en suite double for those who are property seeking.
A bed and breakfast double room en suite is in our farmhouse with full English breakfast.
I can prepare you a two course meal for your arrival or a picnic hamper - booking in advance is essential and costs 15 euros per head.
Formerly from West Sussex where I was born, career as Pharmacy Technician but also bred Arabian Horse-have ridden since the age of 4,-bred Beagles for over 30 years and some of the puppies advertised for Lloyds Bank.Worked with a friend's Wedding catering Company providing Silver Service and excellent fare.Lived in Spain for 3 years currently just re-located to France with my husband Ian where we offering our Gite for holiday vacations.My aim is for guests to enjoy the privileged place we live.

|Why this location?||Its beauty, clear clean air, wildlife in abundance, lovely quaint villages and bustling towns. The friendly French people and the food a sight to see. There is plenty to do and it is rural but not far from markets, shops, brocantes, Chateaux - great for photography and/or artists....the rural community are friendly and helpful and of course we are not that far form UK!|
