About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Jane Cole

I have a wonderful life stretched between family in the UK and living here in France enjoying summer sunshine and trying not too buy too many treasures from the local brocantes. I have one full time member of staff, (at least that's what he calls himself) my husband Peter who fixes everything, sometimes when it's not even broken. We love to welcome guests to our cottage and hope to ensure they have a really special holiday by being available in the most inobtrusive way possible.

Year property purchased 2002
Why this location? A wonderful unspoilt, uncrowned area of France full of charming villages, old chateaus and good restaurants. Close enough to the Channel to be easily accessible yet far enough south to benefit from long sunny days and higher temperatures.

This is undoubtedly the loveliest holiday home we have ever stayed in! The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, spacious and clean. The large gardens are beautiful with both loungers and a lovely seating area next to the good sized pool, perfect for relaxing and cooling down (the water is at a constant perfect temperature). There were many extras, such as bikes to borrow and pool “toys”. The house is historically very interesting, built on a Neolithic flint knapping site and the area is famous for being an important prehistoric settlement. The museum at La Grand Pressigny is a must and the many chateaux in the area were wonderful. There is a good market twice a week at Loches.

The owners were very prompt in all correspondence and the pack of leaflets, tips and information they posted out to us was very useful. They were very friendly and welcoming, leaving us a large hamper of local treats and a starter pack and their hospitality and kindness was second to none! However, they did not impose but were there if we needed anything.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday home!

Absolutely beautiful cottage with all that you could need for a family holiday. The cottage was fully equipped. The owners were a lovely friendly couple who live close by and csn help with anything you needed but they also left you in peace if you didn't need them.

The gardens of the cottage were totally gorgeous and the pool was a prefect size.

The local village was lovely with few restaurants, was bit too far to walk so bike or car was needed.

Would 100% recommend and would love to go again, just stunning ❤️
