A beautifully presented property with stunning views across the Loire; lovingly restored to its current high standard. The Annex en-suite bedroom suited us well, giving us each our own space as well as sharing the main rooms of the gite together. The kitchen had everything we needed to self cater; the outdoor space was enough to enable us to eat outside in the evening as well as enjoying the sunshine there over lunch. The spa opportunity was a wonderful bonus. A great location to explore the space between Tours and Saumur; on the cycle route and with easy access to many different chateaux. Over the river from Langeais with it's medieval chateau and near to a decent sized supermarket, it was a bit far to walk into town in the evening but easily done by bicycle.
A relaxing place to base yourselves to explore the central Loire valley and all it has to offer. Close to the wine route; excellent public transport links which are very easy to use; lots of free parking everywhere.
The welcome we received upon arrival was warm and heartfelt. The property was obviously cared for. Regular opportunities to talk to the owners were available and they could not do enough to recommend places to visit; times to go places and share their own local experience of restaurants and tourist attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. I will certainly recommend this property to others. Thank you for a lovely Loire experience
