|Rainbow Arch - Les Arches de Muschamp||Self Catering||Saturday||2||6||2|
Rainbow Arch is a beautifully restored stone built traditional Loire Valley property finished to a high standard with comfort in mind. Set in delightful & peaceful countryside, but with only a short drive to shopping, restaurants, culture and sightseeing.
There is one attractive double bedroom on the first floor with an en suite bathroom. The second larger bedroom is found on the ground floor and has a very spacious en suite bathroom. So the house is suitable for two to six people.
Rainbow Arch has a very good feel to it. It is meticulously maintained and always cleaned to a high standard. There is a TV in both bedrooms as well as in the living and dining area.
The fully equipped living area/kitchen is light and spacious and has an oven, gas hobs, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, electric cafetiere, fridge and icebox, kettle, iron and ironing board. Electric fans are available if you need to cool off in very hot weather and there is underfloor heating for use during the cooler months.
The white stone walled private terrace and garden is ideal for barbecues and relaxing (and ensures that any young children are safely contained!). The terrace area is also well equipped with sun loungers, gas bbq, dining table and chairs plus parasols for sunnier days and even a gas patio heater for the cooler spring and autumn evenings.
Rental includes no extra hidden charges: all bed linen and towels are provided and on arrival your beds are made up, so all you have to do is put down your bags and relax on the sunny terrace!
Rainbow Arch is set in gently rolling countryside between the historic towns of Loches and Chinon. It is part of a former farm/stud which is still active but relocated 1 km away. It is on the edge of a small hamlet just 1 km from the typically French village of Cussay and just 3 Km from the attractive small town of Ligueil where you can find a good supermarket, pharmacy, ‘boulangerie’ (bakers), cafés and a couple of restaurants.
Comprehensive guest notes are available so that you can find all the local interest sites but the owners are always on hand (discreetly) in case you need any help organising a day out, booking a restaurant or just generally finding your way around.
Free wi-fi in all areas.
Television, dvd player and mini hi-fi.
Additional TVs in both bedrooms in Rainbow Arch.
Cot, high chair and stair gates available.
Toys, games and a library of books.

Janet and Stephen Scollay moved to France ten years ago. They have renovated their beautiful white stone walled property to a very high standard. They are charming hosts who are happy to recommend local places to visit as well as recommendations for restaurants, vineyards and the more unusual visits. They have an extensive knowledge of the area and speak fluent French. They also run a stud farm breeding dressage and eventing horses nearby.
