The Owner Recommends

Meeting Vignerons and Exploring the Vineyards

The appelations of Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Menetou Salon only a short drive away. Almost all vignerons are extremely welcoming to visitors and willing to share their knowledge and a taste of their productions. If you come to stay we can offer recommendations to visit vignerons, many of whom we have visited for years.

Visiting Chateau and Gardens

There are many nearby historic gardens to visit, such as the beautiful gardens of Apremont sur Allier, as well as the gardens of local chateau, such as the recently restored gardens of Perselliers.

Discover the Countryside

There are plenty of ways to discover the beauty of the wonderfully unspoilt Berry province. Horseriding though the vineyards, scenic walks and cycle rides through gently rolling countryside and canoeing along the Loire river.

Whatever your age, enjoy a canoeing trip down the winding Loire river, wandering the pristine islands and beaches and discovering the best part of the last wild river in Europe. Spend an afternoon or a day or camp overnight for an extraordinary experience.
