  • Prices are for 2 people using one bedroom. For up to 4 people, using 2 bedrooms, add £100/week. All charges are included. You normally take your own bed linen and towels, but if this impossible, we can provide it, at a cost of 20 euros per bed, payable locally. Most people take their own.
    £100 booking deposit / week. Balance 8 weeks before arrival date, when key instructions and directions are sent to you.

Stunning 17th century farmhouse near Beaugency and River Loire, close to most famous chateaux - Chambord and Blois, set in unspoilt and ideal cycling countryside, amid fields of corn and sunflowers, close to great Loire Vineyards.

Village (Josnes) with shops 1 mile and a local restaurant. Large supermarket 5 minutes away on edge of Beaugency, a lovely medieval town situated on the banks of the Loire, boasting many restaurants.

Great touring centre for Loire Valley Châteaux, wine producers (Chinon, Bourgeuil, Sancerre & Touraine), the forest of Sologne, South of the Loire with a good network of cycle routes, many of them on the river banks. Championship golf course in la Sologne. Ideal location for either a peaceful & relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday, or activity-based, like cycling, or canoeing on the Loire.

I am Fabienne, and I grew up in this farmhouse, but have lived in England for 35 years. My parents still live nearby.

Unique benefits of property We only let to 2-4 people using a maximum of 2 bedrooms, but it is a beautiful 300-year old farmhouse, with 5 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, and an enormous kitchen with walk-in fireplace
