We advertise with Holiday France Direct and several other companies. Holiday France Direct simply walks away with First Place - for the last seven years we have advertised we have received a regular flow of guests - all of which have been good. The advert itself allows you generous space for info on the property and ample photos. If we ever have a query the staff are extremely pleasant to deal with and any query is dealt with immediately. For an extremely reasonable advertising price we also get a generous discount on one return crossing plus a 20% discount for our guests which has proved to be a big incentive. You have complete control of all correspondence, arrangements and payments with your guests - their e-mail address is available at the onset.

The holiday rental market has changed a lot over the last few years with the leading players taking over their competitors, and using their near monopoly position to increase their charges to unsustainable levels, and even charging both holiday makers as well as owners. At the same time the number of bookings from these websites has dropped. Holiday France Direct stands alone in offering an excellent service at a sensible price and has dramatically improved it's performance recently. As a result, holidaymakers pay lower prices while owners receive an improved income. In addition to this, the ferry discounts offered to both guests and owners are very worthwhile. I have no hesitation in saying that Holiday France Direct offers the best holiday rental website around today.

Holiday France Direct is a website that enables you to book ferries to Europe and accommodation when you get there. There are a very competent service and very customer orientated. The website is easy to use and you get good information about the place you are booking. The owners of the holiday homes get a Brittany Ferries discount code for their guests to use on their ferry ticket. All in all it's a good way to sort out a holiday on the continent.

It has been a delight to advertise on Holiday France Direct in comparison to some of the 'big' names in the holiday rental market who just seem to want to make money out of advertisers AND travellers alike on each booking and really don't care about either. With Holiday France Direct you receive really friendly, personal and helpful service from the Holiday France Direct team and we have received quite a few enquiries and one booking so far and we haven't been advertising with them for long. The advertising process is easy and uncomplicated and you receive incentives like a 20% reduction in Brittany Ferry bookings for yourself AND your guests, even if they haven't booked directly through Holiday France which we've happily passed on to our guests and is being used. It is so refreshing to advertise with a company who seem to really care about their customers and who are happy to provide a great and simple platform for advertising without meddling in the booking process. A win win situation!

As owners of 2 properties in France BF005613 and BF004619 we find it one of the better online booking systems both for ourselves and holiday makers. It is good value for money and the holiday makers have a straight forward booking system and get a 20% discount off their ferry too. It is easy to update the availability calendar and if you forget you get the gentle reminders to update. The customer support deal with any queries with courtesy and are very prompt. We would definitely recommend Holiday France Direct Direct.

How to Apply

If you're ready to advertise now, please go straight to our advertising booking pages.

Simply choose from the QuickBook book and pay on-line option or the annual set fee option. The booking form is set out in easy stages starting with some information about you and moving through text, images and pricing for your property. You should complete all the stages in one sitting avoiding gaps of more than about 15 minutes in order to avoid being timed-out. However, should this happen, we will email you and tell you how to continue.

Once you've submitted your booking form, your property advisor will review your advert the next working day and, if you've selected the annual set fee option, will contact you regarding payment.

For both QuickBook and annual set fee advertising, before your advert is uploaded to the website, we require proof of your ownership of the property that you're advertising, for example, a recent gas or electricity bill.
