The 7th edition of this festival happening once every two years aims to offer to people the best, most amazing shows in the world. An extremely popular festival ever since its beginnings, it is organised entirely by volunteers, and it also allows the public to vote for the best artists. Attracting around 30,000 people every time, its popularity even led to the creation of circus lessons for children!

Relive the asault on the Merville Franceville battery on the morning of the 6th June 1944. Within a preserved site covering several hectares, the Association de la Batterie de Merville offers education tours, including a visit of 4 bunkers. These bunkers have been transformed into museographical displays and a legendary plane that participated in the landing operation. Prices run from 6 to 3.50 euros.

On the first day of this 2 day festival, local fishing vessels bedecked with ribbons and flowers sail out of the old harbour into the Seine Estuary where they are blessed. On the following day, models of fishing boats are carried in procession to Notre Dame de Grace Chapel. Across both days, the festival is celebrated through food, performances and exhibits.

The castle was built by William the conqueror around 1060 as his residential palace. The castle is one of the largest fortified enclosures in Europe. It's located in the town centre and is home to the Normandy museum and the Fine Arts museum. Visitors can stroll along the ramparts where they can enjoy splendid views of the town.
