The fourth edition of this very new festival takes place at Ainay-le-Vieil castle, and was created to celebrate nature as well as any and every kind of arts. Situated in the Loire Valley region so that it can be easily accessed from anywhere in the country, the festival is open to everyone, and amateurs as well as professionals can go and exhibit whatever they want to share with the rest of the world.

Exhibition in the Apremont Museum, dedicated to six of the fairy tales written by Charles Perrault, among which are Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood, with beautiful costumes handcrafted by a local artist.

The town of Aubigny-sur-Nere was once the property of a Scottish Lord, and remained so for four centuries. Now, it celebrates its Scottish heritage every year for 4 days during this festival with concerts, shows, parades, medieval games and typical Scottish food.
'Le Printemps de Bourges' Music Festival, Bourges

One of the most well-known music festivas in France, the Printemps de Bourges is back for its 38th edition in 2015. Taking place every year in April in the heart of the city of Bourges, it attracts thousands of visitors each year. French and international artists, famous or barely starting their career, Bourges awakens and lives to the beat of all genres of music for a week.

May, June and September: every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. Every evening during July and August.
Every night during the summer, and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the rest of the year, the streets of Bourges come to life at night with blue lanterns scattered everywhere across the city. Visitors can follow the blue lights and see the ancient houses and buildings from a whole new point of view, and discover new details normally hidden in the daylight.

The beautiful and ancient town of Dun-sur-Auron, with its history that spans back over a thousand years, open the doors of its buildings, museums and places of interest for two days in June.

An exciting event combining fun, humour and suspense at Pesselieres Castle. As a poor victim is ‘murdered’, the guests are randomly assigned to teams and must scour the castle looking for clues, interrogating suspects and finding the murderer hiding within the walls of the ancient castle. This event last two hours and must be pre-booked.

4 - 6 August 2017
This festival celebrates folk arts and traditions, both French and foreign. During three days, the town is alive with parades, dances, music and animations around the town, and a huge folklore show to end the festival on the last day. A traditional market where you can buy local products can be found as well.
