Strawberry Festival, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne

Held in Beaulieu Sur Dordogne, where the festival is famous and the year's production of strawberries is celebrated. Beaulieu Sur Dordogne produces 40% of the strawberries consumed in France. The festival will have over 5 tons of strawberries on display, some eaten and some used in games and competitions. A creation of a giant strawberry tart is displayed in the village square. This event shows numerous ways in which strawberries can be put to use.

International Festival of Mime ‘Mimos’, Perigueux

End of July 2017

One of the most important mime festivals in the world with free street shows, theatre productions and workshops. Every year, around 30 mime companies present their acts to the public and before a jury in the hope of winning the prestigious first prize.

Children in particular enjoy this unique festival, which brings together a diverse range or artists with the public who will discover novel entertainment in the narrow streets of Perigueux’s old town.
