The museum was created in 1962 by Michel de Vallavieille. This museum was created by him in order to preserve the memory of those who landed on Utah Beach and to pay tribute to all the men who gave or risked their life for our freedom. It first opened inside an old German bunker which today is the historical and symbolic centre of the museum. New museographic additions and new outside layouts will be the finishing touches to the extension works of the museum. Prices vary from 7.50 to 2.50 euros. Open all year round except in December and January.
