Fabulous equestrian show of French horsemanship. The Cadre Noir Cavalry School was founded in the nineteenth century, although an equestrian school was founded in Saumur as early as the sixteenth century under the reign of Henri IV. The Nantes Carnival in the Loire-Atlantique is a celebration of the end of winter and warmer days to come. The carnival includes giant floats, music, and masses of confetti.
The Carnival de Nantes is one of the largest in France if we take into account the number of spectators who attend. Although it has evolved considerably over the years, the Carnival of Nantes is very old and would go back to the Middle Ages, however, the "modern" version of the carnival, close to the one we know today, dates from Nineteenth century.

The 24 Heures Motorcycle race, the benchmark event in the championship, will take place on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit on 20-21 April 2019.
The Sarthe endurance classic that will be celebrating its 41st anniversary in 2019 is the second round of the FIM EWC after the Bol d’Or. It will mark the restart of international motorbike racing after the winter break.

The French Motorcycle Grand Prix is an important event in the MotoGP World Championship and takes place every year in May at the Le Mans racetrack. Each year, around 100,000 people flock to the famous Bugatti circuit for a weekend of exceptional races. Eleven giant screens are placed at strategic places along the circuit so that spectators can follow the trials and races, as well as attending screenings of films about motorcycling.

Legendary 24 hour sports car race testing the skill and endurance of both driver and car.
Held first in 1923. Arrive before race day to see cars practicing on the tracks and parade of drivers and cars through the streets of Le Mans. Enthusiasts will enjoy the boutiques and merchandising outlets set up during the race period. Entry to actual racetrack events can be expensive.

Created in 2009, the Shimano 24 Hours Cycling race takes place on the legendary Bugatti circuit of Le Mans every end of August. This is a relay cycling race in team of 2, 4, 6 or 8 riders, or even in single for the bravest. This human and sports adventure, which brings together nearly 4000 cyclists from twenty countries, is open to everyone. Will you dare to take up the challenge and live the unique experience of a night relay in Le Mans?
